DaysThe “APGVN Meeting” will include the XVIII Technical Conference under the theme “Biodiversity Without Borders” with the aim of seeking solutions for the balance and functioning of natural environments.
Organization
Founded in 1989, the Portuguese Park Rangers Association (APGVN) has been developing various activities to publicize the importance of its activities in Nature Conservation.
Trainings
Within the theme "Biodiversity Without Borders", Conferences and Professional Training Actions will be held on various aspects of general interest such as Forests and Nature Conservation.
Meeting
In addition to the important exchange of technical experiences, the "meeting" will promote interaction between "Rangers", encouraging the sharing of experiences, results and professional performance techniques.
Location
The Marsh Natural Reserve is located in the southeast of the Algarve and covers 2300 ha, made up of marshes, salt marshes and streams that extend across the municipalities of Castro Marim and Vila Real de Stº António, housing several faunal and floristic species.

Natural
ReserveAfter covering around 850 km from its source in Spain, and shortly before emptying near Vila Real de Santo António, the Guadiana River extends into the plain, branching into streams and channels, home to a great diversity of species.
This wetland, known as Sapal de Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António, was the first to be declared a Natural Reserve on the Portuguese mainland.
